28 Acre Mixed-Use

Commercial Development at George Bush Intercontinental Airport
In the spring of 2008, the Houston Airport System in conjunction with the City of Houston, awarded JDDA the right to create a 28 acre, one-of-a-kind, mixed-use commercial development at George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

This premier development estimated at approximately 500,000 sf will include a blend of hospitality, extended stay, office, financial and retail properties in a unique and verdant setting.

The commercial center, located at the northeast corner of JFK Boulevard and Rankin Road, is scheduled for ground breaking in 2009. It will serve Bush Intercontinental, the 4th largest airport in the nation, by creating a mixed-use environment designed to complement the airport’s business and pleasure traveler and the surrounding community as well.
